I attended two terms of story stars with my daughter and we absolutely loved it. Isabella was born with kidney failure and has spent much of her life in hospital. This was the only baby class we attended in her first year and we were made to feel so welcome at Horfield. I was really nervous attending as my experience of motherhood has been somewhat different to most but we always felt relaxed. The interactive play catered for all with only one messy play (important for us as she can't be undressed!) and was educational and fun. I am positive these classes helped so much with her development after 20 weeks in hospital and have contributed to her love of books. Thank you for helping create such precious memories and giving me the opportunity to experience some normality with my daughter. Emma 

 

This was our favourite baby class and we did quite a few! My son loved it and so did I. Amy (leader at Horfield) was lovely and got to know each baby really well. Each week was different with a great variety of activities and stories. The song at the end was also a winner! ☺️ Amy

My son who is 9 months absolutely loved Story Stars with Lou on Friday mornings at Downend. Each session was so cleverly thought through. The attention to detail is fantastic! Engaging stories each week with coordinated sensory areas and messy play. I would highly recommend this class.

I'm on my 2nd term of Story Stars and look forward to it every week! There is so much variety that other baby groups seem to lack. I particularly love the messy play as I definitely wouldn't do that much in my own house. The bubble machine is a winner too and about the only time my daughter is ever still! Also there are some great tunes on in the background... recommend to all! :) Jenni

My daughter loved Story Stars! Despite being at the older end of their target age group she really enjoyed listening to the stories and the sensory activities that followed. So glad we found such a fun and unique group that appealed to our interests. And I thought the price was incredibly good value for money compared to other classes. Will definitely be returning with number 2! Rachel

We have just finished our last term of story stars after 4 terms. My little boy (started at 10 months finished at 18 months) loved every minute of every class. The story telling, the parachutes, the sensory and messy play and the goodbye song with the bubbles all makes for a fantastic class. Very relaxed and well led, couldn't recommend it highly enough. We were introduced to Story Stars by a friend and it has been our favourite baby group by far. 
We love every story each week and thoroughly enjoy the sensory play, bubbles and song at the end.  We are looking forward to next term! Sorelle
