We are so passionate about stories and want to encourage a love of books from a very early age. We want to show children that books are incredible and inspiring, and to create lasting memories of stories and the wonder they bring.
About Me
Hi! My name is Em and I live in South Bristol with my husband and our little boy, who turns one this winter.
I hold a degree in Education and spent many years working in schools and holiday respite play schemes for children of all ages with additional needs.
I have a real passion for children's books and illustration, I even wrote and illustrated one myself once (not a published one though!).
I struggle to pick just one favourite, but a title I remember reading as a child over and over again is Whatever Next! It brings me such nostalgia to read it to my own child now.
In my spare time, I love weight training, though finding the time has definitely become a bit more of a challenge since becoming a mum!
I actually attended Story Stars as a new mum and loved it so much I jumped at the chance to take it on when Lou decided to step away.
